The AC Cobra took a British chassis from the AC Ace and rather than the modest inline 6, crammed a 260 CID V8 from Ford under the hood. Of course, there is only one man who could tackle an endeavor like this: Carroll Shelby. Over time the displacement increased from 260 CI to 289 CI and even 427 CI. To get into a real AC Cobra built by Shelby's crew you'll have to shell out a cool 6 figures. This particular car is a tribute to the cars Shelby built and it carries a much more friendly price tag. This car has a body built by Classic Roadsters Ltd. Power comes from a 302 CID V8 and is delivered through a 5 speed manual transmission.
