The Bel Air model, which was the top trim level, was at the end of its first generation in 1954. This lively and luxurious Chevrolet comes painted in a two-tone Turquoise with Indian Ivory on the roof and rear fenders. The idea was for the coupes to resemble the style of convertible models, while being hardtop cars in reality. All Bel Airs were known for being 'color keyed', or in other words harmonizing the interior with the exterior. In this case that naturally means a Turquoise and Ivory color combination for the cloth/vinyl bench seats and painted dashboard.
