BACKGROUND: Chevrolet brought back the Impala SS nameplate in the mid-90s, they were out to prove that there was still room for a four-door sedan with some power, and they did it with this! The 1994-1996 generation Impala SS was essentially a high-performance version of the Caprice. The Impala SS actually used the Caprice 9C1 police package as its base and was produced with equipment formerly available only to law enforcement. This police package included equipment such as a sport-tuned suspension with reinforced shocks and springs, a high-capacity reverse-flow cooling system (derived from the Corvette's LT1), four-wheel disc brakes, transmission cooler, dual exhaust, a higher-output electrical system, and other minor mechanical alterations.
This is a mean looking piece of 90's muscle decked out in maroon paint, grey leather interior, with just under 24,000 original miles. You don't have to sacrifice luxury with this car either, with leather interior and power options galore.
