The 1986 Chevrolet El Camino coupe utility vehicle was part of the 1978 to 1987 fifth generation series of El Caminos. The Chevy Chevelle had served as a template for the El Camino since 1964, but the Chevelle ceased production in 1977 and the El Camino retained the Malibu chassis and most of the Malibu's mechanical components. In 1986, this El Camino was equipped with the stock 5. 0L motor; fast forward to today, an updated 5. 7L LS1 is now loaded into this El Camino. This is a well sorted build that is a blast to drive.

A small block 350 is nothing new to the hotrod world, but this is one of the more desirable 350s. It is a blueprinted engine that runs out great. Back it up with a tried and true TH400 transmission paired to an 80s Corvette independent rear suspension and you cannot ask for a whole lot more in a 1937 Chevrolet 2 Door Sedan. This combination makes this a very fun car to drive whether its ice cream cruises, or back road ripping. The maroon paint does show its age in spots, but the beautiful beige interior shows no excessive wear. The underside is shiny, and powder coated to match the maroon exterior.
