After amazing sales success of the 1965 Mustang, GM new they had to get in on the game. After a Two-year delay, Chevy dropped the - now legendary - Camaro. Sporting a coke bottle side profile with muscular hips, and a full-length grill, the 67 Camaro was a volley fired across Ford's bow. Not only was it Chevy's first all new model in years, but one-upped the Mustang with the ability to swallow Chevy's big block, V8s between the fenders. In 1968 The formula was working so well Chevy didn't mess with a good thing. Except for engineering and trim refinements the design was left alone. This real RS optioned, 1968 Camaro hails from Oklahoma and was blessed with a full restoration by its current owner. Over thirteen years of ownership, the car had new quarters, floor plans and a new trunk pan professionally installed. This Camaro also has a rebuilt 327 v8 with a period correct Powerglide handling shifting duty. Additionally, the car drives tight and stops and steers like new-thanks to-new suspension bushings and being updated with front disk brakes, plus 15' chrome, American racing wheels.
