Every car has a story: This eye-catching Camaro was built 11D (4th week of November, 1967) at LOS (Van Nuys, California) VIN prefix of 124678L (V8 Camaro convertible, 1968), color code C 1 (Ermine White & white convertible top), with the standard 717 (blue vinyl bucket) interior. The owner purchased it as part of a settlement without any documentation, but was told it has a crate 454 in it. We do not know conclusively if it was born a base Camaro, or the SS RS car you see today. One exciting clue is it DOES have the 12-bolt rear end, multi leaf spring, and the date code on the rear end is K 17 7 suggesting it could be a real SS car. If in fact a 1967 12-bolt casting, the date code predates the build date by less than 2 weeks, making us wonder! We will just call it one darn good looking Camaro. If it were a documented SS car, the price would be considerably higher. The colors on this car are just stunning, and arguably superior in appearance to the original white.
