This screaming yellow truck was meant to be driven down the road to the next car show. The stance has the traditional hot rod look with a set of polished aluminum American Racing wheels. The wheels are wrapped in Mickey Thompson street radials. Accenting the screaming yellow paint are paint Bow Tie and Chevrolet logos giving the truck a nice custom show car look. The steel hood has been replaced with a fiberglass hood, with a teardrop shaped raised cowl, just like the -Thunderbolts- from the 60-s. This is one of very few built with the flared rear wheel wells adding four inches to the trucks width. Adding to the truck's look are dealer installed body ground effects including the sun visor, rear cab spoiler, rear window covers and hard shell tonneau cover. Still showing very well in its original Victory Red paint thanks to being garaged most of its life. The black 5 spoke aluminum Boss wheels sure add to the trucks stellar appearance. The 3100 series was redesigned in 1948 and included an adjustable bench seat to accommodate 3 passengers. The truck also became larger in almost all areas. Larger cab and glass for better visibility.
