Part of the GM A-Body platform, the Chevelle was one of Chevrolet's most successful nameplates and that still remains a fact. The Chevelle for sale also provided the platform for the Monte Carlo introduced in 1970. The Malibu, the top of the line model through 1972, replaced the Chevelle nameplate for the redesigned and downsized 1978 models. Now its pretty obvious that this particular Chevelle has gone under the knife for some serious upgrades, modifications and restoration. Powering this monster muscle Machine is a 454 C. I. D big block V8 that ATK provided. Its is dyno proven @ 415hp. Its topped with an Edelbrock dual plane performer intake and a HR-780 Quick Fuel injection system. Putting a fire down this big blocks throat is a MSD distributor and soaking it in with the fuel via the Holley electric fuel pump. Taking all the power in the transfer from front to back is an M20 4 speed manual and putting the power and torque to the ground is a 12 bolt rear end packed with an Eaton 4. 11 posi ring and pinion.
