The 283 CID V8 engine that sits under the hood is believed to be the original to the car as is the 2-speed PowerGlide automatic transmission. Both the engine and transmission were rebuilt at the time of the restoration, which took place about 7 years ago. Drilled and slotted power disc brakes adorn all 4 corners as well as American Racing polished aluminum/alloy wheels that provide a killer look and stance to this classic Malibu SS convertible.
