The owner of this Pontiac was out for a stroll in his Firebird when he pulled up next to a modern Ford Focus at a stoplight. After losing the race, he decided this won-t do. The engine was completely gone through and beefed up in a few effective placed to pump power closer to the 350-400 horsepower range this car deserves. Now this Trans Am is a whole different animal! Roughly 3,000 miles have been put on the engine since the rebuild, so the engine is just broken in and ready for some miles!
