Ford created its Deluxe line to cater to a growing demand for more outwardly luxurious cars, and added some great styling touches in their pursuit - the art-deco front grille, high set pair of rear windows and dramatically curved rear roofline being obvious right off. All that aesthetic panache is covered in black paint that's been very recently applied with obvious great care and features a strong clearcoat on top to produce a new-car shine. There's a lot of impressive fresh chrome on display - the center panel of the front grille, the teardrop shaped headlight casings whose custom appearance belies their factory origin, and side trim that runs the length of the car and seems to match the curvature of the roof life as it ends in back.

This street rod sits on an S-10 frame and rides nice. Under the hood is a 350 CI V8 pushing 325 HP mated to a B&M 350 Turbo 3-speed transmission. Compression ratio is 9. 75 to 1 and runs great on regular pump gas. The rear gear ratio is 2. 73. Under the hood is a new radiator cooling fan to keep that 350 running cool. A new Holley Street Avenger carb drink the fuel and makes this baby haul. The exterior maroon paint is in driver quality condition and looks good going down the road. A few years before World War 2 started Chevrolet built this piece of automotive history. The 1938 Chevrolet Master and Master Deluxe was a stand out when it was new and is certainly a stand out in any crowd today. Impressive styling of the 1938 Chevrolet Master Deluxe will have people lining up at shows to see it. This particular example looks handsome in it's dark red paint that resembles a nice red wine. The interior features custom upholstered bucket seats up front and bench in rear that are color keyed with the rest of the car. Under the hood is a Chevy 350 V8 and is paired to a 3 speed automatic. Most of the restoration was completed in Switzerland to comply with their strict regulations and has the certification label under the hood.

Body/ Paint: Mild modifications include a one-piece peaked and shaved hood, shaved deck, and gas filler door. The deck has a cable release and the fuel filler is in the trunk. The spare tire well has been filled as well. All other Deluxe stainless remains as well as Pontiac front fender splits and stars on the rear quarters. The body is a custom mix copper Kandy with rainbow color flake in the clear coat with a pearl tan top and pin-striping. The car has a sun visor, extra teeth in the grill, one-piece bumpers, and new '54 Chevy tail lights and housings. All glass is original with the exception of the wind-wings and side-quarter windows that are new.

Interior: The 3-tone interior has copper flake and 2 shades of tan and is over-stuffed. Very comfortable. All interior door and window handles are new.
