The current owner of this car has enjoyed this car for about 5 years and is ready to allow someone else to enjoy it. Walking around this '67 one should notice the unique Mauve Metallic gloss paint, 15' chrome wheels wrapped in Cooper Cobra white letter tires, chrome mirrors, chrome handles, rear rally stripe, dual exhaust, hood pins, stylish grille, and 500 badging. In 1968, Dodge introduced a new restyled design for the Coronet that proved to popular then and now with its aggressive and attractive body lines. This 1968 Dodge Coronet 500 Convertible is powered by its rebuilt 383 CID V8 engine, backed by a 727 TorqueFlite 3-speed automatic transmission, and running to a 8 3/4' rear end with 3. 23 gears. What a fun car to cruise down the road in. 'Car 54 Where Are You', to 'Adam 12' TV shows- those were the days when pizza-cutter clad, tire-smoking big block Police cars commanded the road, chasing criminals. 'Batman' and 'Gilligan's Island' and other favorites were prime-time TV. This car features the more economical, durable slant 6 (but you do not have to tell anyone! ) A similar '66 Coronet Police Car was featured on Jay Leno's Garage.

This car looks and feels about as close to a new '66 as you're going to get. A lot of time and money was spent on it. Covered in none other than a classic Red paint, this is a blast from the past that will surely please its new owner. Restored back in 2007 this car has been well maintained over the years.

The big 440 CID V8 was put into this car back in 2012 after the previous owner found out the original 383 that was in the car could not be saved. The 440 however provides plenty of torque to get this car moving along at a brisk clip. The 3-speed automatic transmission shifts nicely for a car that is only 53 years young!

Inside the passenger compartment, you'll find that the black vinyl seats are in great shape, as is the carpet; what appears to be the original dash pad is in great condition too. While you may see an A/C system for this car, unfortunately it needs some attention to the connection before you get to enjoy the cold air.
