In the late 50s Chevrolet decided to try their hand at making coupe utility vehicle following the success of Ford's Ranchero. As all successes go there is always another that wants a piece of the pie. With that said it wasn't long until Chevy unveiled the El Camino and it was an instant hit selling more its first year than the Ranchero did in its first year, 2 years prior. The El Camino would see 5 generations spanning nearly 25 years! Here we have a '84 model and wow is she a beauty! The gold paint looks great as it should with a fresh coat in 2010. The brown cloth interior looks comfortable and is also in great order. Powering this Elco is a 305ci 5. 0L V8 mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission. This car is believed to be an original SS with the original powertrain. With only 82k miles on the odometer this Elco has a lot of life left.
