With just under 2,700 miles on a fresh rebuild this tastefully modified 1965 Mustang is ready to hit the road and cruise! Setting this Mustang apart from rest of the crowd is a custom Shelby style front end and hood, American Racing Torque Thrust wheels, and lowered stance that really set off the performance feel. Giving it the lowered stance and helping it to out corner its stock counterpart is a set of TCP adjustable coil overs upfront and newer lower leaf springs in the rear. Also helping it to corner is the Flaming River power rack and pinion cradle that was a huge improvement from the factory equipment. The remanufactured 302 cubic inch V8 sitting under the hood has been tuned up to give it that extra power it needed. Modifications include the Weind aluminum intake manifold and 4-barrel carburetor, a mild cam giving it a healthy choppy idle, and a set of Hedman long-tube headers flowing through a full Flowmaster exhaust system. Backing up that small block Ford engine is a brand new performance C4 automatic transmission that shifts crisply between gears....

This was the last year for this body style and the Mach One. This one has been giving a little Cobra love and is now fitted with a factory Terminator Cobra blower that's forcing a lot more air into the lovely 32 valve DOHC aluminum V8. Power from the factory was 320 at the flywheel, now it's a whopping 420 at the rear wheels! it takes more than just a super charge to get these kinds of gains. Adding to the ported Eaton supercharger is a 2. 5 inch Borla Stinger Catback exhaust, Bassani O/R X-pipe, SCT Tuner with Pro Tune and a JLT Short Ram intake. For a little history on this generation of Broncos - the 1978-1979 Bronco is based on the Ford F100 pickup truck (1973-1979 sixth generation). Alongside the shortened wheelbase of 104 inches, the major difference between the Bronco and F100 is the Bronco's standard four-wheel-drive powertrain. This generation of the Bronco is fitted with part-time four-wheel drive and a New Process 205 gear-driven transfer case with the option of permanent four-wheel drive and a New Process 203 chain-driven transfer case. The 1978-1979 Bronco is fitted with a coil-sprung Dana 44 front axle and has a leaf-sprung Ford 9-inch axle in the rear. The 1978-1979 Bronco was available with two different V8 engines: the 5. 8L 351M and the 6. 6L 400.
