Even by today's standards, much less 8 years ago, a car that comes from the factory with 662hp and 631 ft-lbs of torque is nothing short of impressive, these are supercar numbers. So why does this one have 955 BHP? Well, because 956 BHP would just be stupid! Actual 'to the wheels' numbers are 875 RWTQ and 831 RWHP thanks to a lot of work. All build receipts are available upon request and no expense was spared. Nothing was taken away from the car in an attempt to put down some power. You still get to enjoy A/C, AM/FM/CD radio, cruise control, tilt and telescoping column, power steering, power anti-lock brakes, power windows, power mirrors, power locks, GPS, power leather seating with lumbar support, traction control (lol), keyless entry, seatbelts, airbags and an anti-theft system. Some notable mods off the long list are Kooks Headers, Comp Cams, 1000hp injectors, water/methanol injection and a Whipple supercharger. The Mustang has been a phenomenon since its introduction in 1964. Considered Fords longest running production car as the nameplate is still used today. With over one million units sold in the first two years the Mustang is truly an American success story. Leading competitors were quick to get into the pony car craze including the Chevrolet Camaro, Pontiac Firebird and AMC Javelin. This 2007 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 is painted in Performance White with a red GT500 stripe package. The interior screams sporty good looks with its two-tone red/ black leather interior. The Model 48 was an update on Ford's V8-powered Model 40-A, the company's main product. Introduced in 1935, the Model 48 was given a cosmetic refresh annually, before being thoroughly redesigned for 1941. The 1935 Ford's combination of price, practicality, and looks vaulted the company ahead of rival Chevrolet for the sales crown that year, with 820,000 sold. The Ford Model 48 has a front-mounted engine, and rear-wheel drive. It features a traditional body-on-frame design, and was offered with ten different body styles. Chevrolet regained the sales lead at the end of 1936, but the Ford still sold well. The look was updated with an inverted pentagonal grille with all-vertical bars beneath a prominent hood and three horizontal chrome side strips (on DeLuxe models). The V8 DeLuxe was called Model 68. A concealed horn, long a prominent part of the Ford's design, also brought the car into modern times. The new trucks continued with the old grille. Other major changes for 1936 were the use of pressed steel 'artillery' solid wheels instead of wire wheels. This little black truck is one sharp Ford. Finished in black and sitting on white wall tires there's no way to miss this hot rod cruising down the road! As you walk around the vehicle you'll notice nice details like the swooping fenders, red grill and high mounted side mirrors. The front fenders, hood, cab and bed are all steel and according to the owner some panels are original steel. Take a seat inside and you're greeted by black vinyl bucket seats with red piping. A large old school steering wheel falls at your hands and the dash is pained in the same contrasting red while housing a non-functional gauge cluster from a 53 Ford Pickup.
