This pickup truck has had many changes since 1949. This big blue monster sits on top of a 1987 Ford F350 4x4 dually chassis. Under the hood is a 351 CID Windsor V8 which fires right up and has plenty of power to turn all 6 wheels. The 5. 8L is backed by a recently rebuilt 5 Speed ZF manual transmission which runs to a transfer case that drives all four corners. The 4x4 works great, or should we say 6x6? Surprisingly, this beast is quite easy to drive. With power steering and power brakes, it feels just like driving an '87 F350. The F3 is finished in bright blue which will certainly catch some eyes. This one of a kind, built from scratch roadster is definitely a unique piece. The build began with a custom built frame designed specifically to accommodate the engine, body, and bed combo. The 253 CID inline Pontiac motor was completely rebuilt from top to bottom with a number of performance enhancements added along the way. From the 3 angle valve job to the significantly larger cam this inline 6 is an absolute torque monster.
