The Chevrolet Chevelle was produced in three generations for the 1964 through 1978 model years. Part of the General Motors A-Body platform, the Chevelle was one of Chevrolet-s most successful nameplates. 1966-1967 models saw a significant restyle that included smooth contours, a broad new grille and bumper treatment and curved side windows. The 1967 models also received a new rear end featuring wraparound tail lamps with standard backup lights.
