The Regal Turbo was a popular street beast of the late 80-s with only around 7900 produced and was the intro to the GNX series that came about with it-s limited production of 547 built. This Regal is a tribute to the GNX series and mechanically serves it justice.

This 1965 Mustang is part of the first generation Ford produced from 1964 until 1969. Within the first production year more than 417,000 Mustangs were sold, setting a new record for a new model from Detroit; not to mention creating an entire class of automobiles by itself. These cars had sporty long hoods, along with short rear short decks, and became the progenitor of the 'Pony Car' market. The -65 Mustang was the beginning of a market that still is going strong today, with Camaros, Challengers, Cougars, Barracudas and more joining the fray in the early years. This good-looking 1965 Mustang is equipped with a 289 CID V8, topped with an Edelbrock 4 barrel, and backed by a 3-speed automatic transmission. Under the hood of this beauty is a Pontiac 400 CID V8 that was rebuilt roughly 8,000 miles ago. Thanks to that fresh rebuild, the engine pulls well and provides the muscle that GTOs are known for. Sending the power rearward is a rebuilt four-speed Muncie transmission with about 1,000 miles on it. The transmission shifts extremely well through the gears providing the driver with just the right amount of feedback withought being too stiff through the new Hurst shifter. Other new driveline components include the flywheel, clutch, pressure plate, and throw out bearing. The rear end on the car is a ten-bolt geard to a 3. 08 ratio which provides plenty of top end for highway cruising. The engine is kept cool by a brand new aluminum radiator which was fitted very recently. Overall, this powertrain is very well put together and certainly provides the driver with an authentic muscle car feel.
