The '58 was the first year of the task force series pickup to feature dual headlights. To describe the size of the truck the term 'Apache' was used for light duty trucks, with Viking and Spartan for medium and heavy-duty trucks.
This beautiful truck features a 350 CID that has been paired to a 700R4 transmission in which both have been rebuilt roughly 2,100 miles ago. With a set of Hedman headers and dual exhaust running out the back, this truck has a nice tone to it. Keep the truck at a nice operating temperature, the aluminum radiator, and electric fan are a great help. Front disc brakes have also been added for improved stopping capability. Power steering also allows you to take those turns easier as well.
This Apache is painted in a unique color that seems to be a combination of antique bronze and brown. You certainly will not find many vehicles with the same color scheme, making you stand out at your local car meet. All the chrome shows well with no major pitting or flaking complimenting the trucks features. The wood bed having been nicely restored looks to have never had anything put in it and stands...
