Arguably this is one of the most attractive styles with those slick lines, absence of gaudy chrome and trim, and a tidy front and rear fascia. The original 396 was replaced with a rebuilt 454 Cubic Inch V8. Before undergoing a full show-quality restoration, this vehicle was purchased in 2002 and was believed to have only 45,500 actual miles. A restoration began with removing the frame and chassis components to be sandblasted and then powder coated. The exterior shell was then stripped to bare metal and any imperfections or signs of rust or filler were replaced with metal and finished off with high quality paint, and even the chrome/brightwork was redone.

This custom is a true 'G' code car equipped with a 406cid V8 and 3 Duces backed by a T10 4-Speed Manual Transmission.

This Galaxy was found in a barn in Nebraska and went through a complete custom treatment.

The body you will find is straight as an arrow and the black paint is first class. The shaved door handles and red accent paint is a nice addition to the exterior look of this fine Galaxy.

The interior you will find as mostly stock (If it aint broke) a long with a few nicely placed aftermarket gauges that help monitor the powerplant under the hood.

The Silver Cloud was produced by Rolls Royce LTD between the April 1955 and March 1966 as a replacement for the Silver Dawn. The Silver Cloud was a body on frame design with the doors, bonnet and trunk lids being of a lightweight Aluminum based alloy, It measured 212' long, 75' wide and weighed in at a solid 4299 lbs. with a total of 2417 being produced during the production run.

In the same year new 2' SU Carbs were added with compression being raised to 9. 1, a 7% increase over previous year. The transmission was a licensed GM Hydra-matic 4 speed.
