When it comes to true American Muscle Cars the name Chevelle has always stood out, and for good reason. Arguably this is one of the most attractive styles with those slick lines, absence of gaudy chrome and trim, and a tidy front and rear fascia. This example is finished in the correct E-Code shade of Royal Mist Metallic top and bottom with black interior.
Performance is key with any muscle car, but heritage is also important when it comes to the investment side of cars, and this one has a lot going for it. The original 396 was replaced with a rebuilt 454 Cubic Inch V8. Before undergoing a full show-quality restoration, this vehicle was purchased in 2002 and was believed to have only 45,500 actual miles. A restoration began with removing the frame and chassis components to be sandblasted and then powder coated. The exterior shell was then stripped to bare metal and any imperfections or signs of rust or filler were replaced with metal and finished off with high quality paint, and even the chrome/brightwork was redone.
