In the mid 60's Ford developed and released a car that would become one of the longest produced cars in American History! We all know the story of the Mustang, the quintessential Pony Car that took America by storm! While even today these cars are loved and we are happy there are many of these ponies still around! As you walk around this Mustang you'll see the PPG red paint is driver quality in its purest form. She has seen some time on the road and proven herself. The paint still has a good shine but is not without blemishes. The panels line up nicely, and that makes for a quality appearance as the light rolls across the sheet metal. Buick Riviera's 2nd Generation ran from 1966 to 1970, when Buick completely redesigned the Riviera, moving the headlights behind the grille, where they moved up above the grille when not being used, and had a longer body. The hood was extended, and the rear styling was similar to a fastback design. The most significant change for 1967 was Buick's replacement of its venerable 425 'Nailhead' with an entirely new 430 cu in (7. 0 L) V8. Its 360 horsepower (270 kW) and 475 lb-ft (644 N? m) of torque were a performance improvement. There has been great thought in the restoration of this Riviera. This 1966 has undergone a restoration at some point and has had some tasteful upgrades added. Walking around the exterior one should notice the dark red gloss paint. This 2nd generation GTO is a great example of a very nice restomod done well. Being a true 242 car, this GTO is the real deal and after the GTO was named Motor Trends car of the year in 1968, this was a highly sought-after year. By 1968 the car was beginning to become dated, so a new model with a fastback design was released, and the public went car crazy. 1969 would bring what many believe to be the most desirable GTO to come out of the Motor City.
