Most car enthusiasts recognize the first-generation Camaro as an icon- their popularity in the classic car market continues to rise. This example was born at the Los Angeles assembly plant in 1967 and was restored over several years, starting with the appealing 'Arrival Blue' exterior paintjob and Gray Z28 stripes. 15' front/16' rear Rally wheels with Uniroyal radial tires, new chrome trim and rear spoiler complete the muscle car look of this '69 Camaro. Under the cowl hood there's a 327 CID engine which is comparable with what would have come with this model from the factory but has been boosted by a Crane Blue Racer cam, Edelbrock aluminum heads, MSD ignition and an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. Headers feed dual 2 1/2 inch exhaust with MagnaFlow mufflers for a beefy soundtrack. A rebuilt TurboHydramatic 3-speed automatic with transmission cooler feeding a 10-bolt rear end geared 2. 73 gets this '69 Camaro down the road with purpose. Hotchkiss rear leaf springs and coil-over suspension up front help this 2-door coupe handle as good as it looks and stopping is taken care of by power front disc brakes. These tail lights have been reworked with '53 Buick lenses. There are numerous body modifications done to this car. The trunk lid has been smoothed & the tag mount frenched.
