The 2nd generation Camaro was a much better car than its predecessor. The original Camaro was rushed along due to Chevy being caught off guard by the Mustang. After the tremendous success of GM-s own Pony car the second generation would have a virtual unlimited budget. Known as the Super Hugger the cars were lower wider and leaner giving them a stance that was unlike any other. The Z28 was the rarest of the bunch with only 2500 being produced in 72 this beauty is a great collector piece. This true RS split bumper car has had a heart transplant to say the least. Gone is the small block replaced by a monstrous cubic inch big block. Built using forged internals with a set of 9 to 1 SRP pistons this thing is close to bullet proof. The big oval heads allow this engine to breathe better especially when matched up with the Comp Cam. The matching Edelbrock intake and carb compliment the complete set up nicely.
