Chevy had the potent 427 which was introduced to production in Mid 65 after cleaning everyone's clock at the Daytona 500 in 63. The Chevelle offered the 427 and was an instant success with the 69 becoming even more popular the last couple of years. This 69 has been treated to a complete restoration with many things going back to its former glory. The body itself was in good shape retaining all of its original sheet metal. This gave room in the budget for the removal of the vinyl top and all of the smoothing out of the roof that goes with it.
