The 49 Ford was the first completely redesigned automobile to be introduced by the big three after the War. This truck has recently undergone a frame off restoration and it looks amazing. The second owner of the truck bought it in 1988 for $200 and was driven until 2002 before it was parked for restoration. The restoration began in 2005 by The Restoration House out of East Alton, IL. The restoration was complete in late 2006 and has seen around 440 miles since completion. The truck is painted in a very eye catching charcoal color base coat/clear coat and the chrome 18 inch aluminum wheels add the perfect amount of flash.
