The first-generation Ford Mustang was manufactured by Ford April 1964. The introduction of the Mustang created a new class of automobile known as the pony car. Several changes to the Mustang occurred at the start of the normal 1965 model year production, five months after its introduction in 1964 1/2. The Mustang was originally available as either a hardtop or convertible, but during the car's early design phases a fastback model was strongly considered. In 1965, the Shelby Mustang was born, it was available only in newly introduced fastback body version with its swept-back rear glass and distinctive ventilation louvers. Engine lineup was meek with the K-Code Hi-Po 289 being king and that just wasn-t good enough for this build. A 347cubic inch smallblock stroker engine was built and pumps out a mean 400+hp! First you start out with a near perfect restoration. Restored with the correct interior and exterior color combinations, wheels and trim, it has an all original look, but then there are some definite subtle surprises. First you may or may not notice that it sits slightly lower than original. This was accomplished with two inch lowering spindles in the front. That way ride and alignment are not affected. The rear was lowered with two inch lowering blocks for the same reason. With that the stance is pretty much perfect. Getting into the car you-ll notice the factory chrome trim sparkling and the paint shining. Then you see the radio, hmmmm it looks slightly different. It is a digital radio with auxiliary inputs. Below that you-ll notice the under dash AC unit and to the left you see three additional gauges just to make sure everything is operating as it should.

This car looks amazing from every angle but starting with the front the first thing that is sure to make you drool is the long and sexy '37 Ford Grill sweeping down from below the hood to the bottom fenders. This massive piece of chrome looks perfect in between the teardrop headlights that made the '37 a perfect choice for hot-rodders and custom builders. The Custom Wheels give the exterior that little bit of 'bling' and compliment the exterior styling perfectly. Take a look at the rear license plate that is electrically controlled to be hidden underneath the car. The sideways opening hood slopes back to the chopped roof line created by OZE. The front fenders are flared to a peak and flow into the running board and back to the peaked rear fenders with very slick frenched tail lights that are hardly noticeable.

Pop the hood open to reveal a small block Chevrolet V8 decked out with all of the chrome trimmings.
