1933 Ford 3 Window

View Description

This piece of rolling art starts using one of the better fiberglass bodies currently produced in the Hot Rod Scene, an Outlaw body, running boards and chassis. The gorgeous paint is -98 color used on Ford Rangers, Bright Atlantic Metallic. A billet has been added for a bit of flash on the outside. Getting the stance just right is a set upper and lower tubular A The-Arms with 2 inch dropped spindles. The steering is handled by a manual rack and pinion by Flaming River. The rear suspension consists of a triangulated 4 bar set-up with a Currie 9-inch rear end loaded with 3. 25 gears. Aldan coil over shocks are used front and back to give this 3 Window a nice smooth ride. Finishing of the exterior is a beautiful set of chrome 5 spoke wheels, 15x6 in the front and 17x7 in the rear. Under the hood is a GM 300 horsepower crate engine with a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission with a shift kit. The shift kit not only improves the shift points of the automatic and will increase the life of the transmission as well. Inside, the 3 Window coupe has been dressed out in a combination of...

1974 Ford Bronco

View Description

The Bronco came out in 1966 as direct competition for the Jeep and Scout while Chevy released the Blazer in 1969. The Blazer would hurt sales of the Bronco due to the many engine options available but for the off-road enthusiast the Bronco was the bang for your buck. This frame-off fully custom Bronco is the complete package that is guaranteed to get looks whether it be at a car show or mudhole. The orange paint is slick showing no signs of wear with the all the stainless-steel fasteners giving it a unique look. This beast is riding on a set of 35X13. 5 TOYO open country tires that are sure to get you out of any trouble you come across. The XRC 9500 winch is for those just in case times but will most likely be used to pull your buddy-s Chevy-s out. Under the hood is really what separates it from the pack. The 351 stroker motor that was built specifically for this Bronco is putting out upwards of 600 HP. The yates racing heads are the perfect complement for Edelbrock EFI system which feeds just the right amount of fuel. The C4 transmission shifts out nicely with firm...

1957 Chrysler 300

View Description

The 300 line was introduced in 1955 to give Chrysler a suitable platform for stock car competition and, given free rein to win at all costs, its engineers wasted no time netting back-to-back NASCAR championships. In 1957, hell-bent on elevating Chrysler to America's premier automotive brand, those same engineers took home top honors at Daytona's world famous Flying Mile. And by the time this long, low and sleek land rocket hit the streets it had officially broken America's stock car speed record, become one of the fastest production vehicles ever sold, and gained the nickname 'Motorized Dynamite'. Today these highly coveted classics are considered a significant step in the development of what we now affectionately call muscle cars, and they've long been the premier year for Chrysler letter car collectors.

With this car's 392 cubic inch Firepower V8 Chrysler created a big block legend that's still highly regarded as a revolutionary blend of performance and luxury. Not only does this hot Hemi mill produce 375 horsepower and twist stout 9. 25 to 1 compression into 420 lb. /ft. of torque. Induction is handled by a pair of gold air cleaners that are piped directly into two high performance Carter 4-barrel carburetors....

1970 Plymouth GTX

View Description

The 1970 GTX received a minor redesign (new grille and rear taillights) but sales still suffered as the car did not look much different from the Road Runner. Stylists made the lines smoother, and a 'power bulge' hood was introduced, as well as non-functional rear brake air scoops. The GTX was available with the standard 440 four-barrel carburetor, as well as the 440+6 barrel (three two-barrel carburetors) and the 426 Hemi. In keeping with the GTX marketing strategy, the 1970 model included many standard features. This particular GTX is a rare find due the paint (TX9) and interior options. It believed that only this is 1 of 3 to be produced in this configuration. Come to think of it, not sure if I ever seen a black -70 GTX till this one. The gold stripes really accent the beautiful deep black paint. The original 440 Commando V8 with 4 barrel carburetor and 727 Torqueflite transmission are fresh. Popping the hood will reveal just how detailed the resto has been. A brand new NOS wiper motor was found and installed. This GTX was optioned with AC making it an...

1975 Toyota Land Cruiser

View Description

By so many standards, the FJ40 Land Cruiser is the definitive 20th century 4x4. With an international pedigree like a Land Rover, the rugged simplicity of a Jeep and swagger like an old Bronco, the FJ is a greatest hits album of classic trucks. Fun to look at, sure, but driving one will take your appreciation to a whole new level. By 1973 300,000 of them were roaming the planet in either hardtop, soft top, station wagon or pickup form. The -F- in FJ refers to the Type F engine and the J stands for jeep, meaning the more generic WWII-borne use of that term and not the brand Jeep currently owned by Fiat Chrysler. Throw that knowledge around at parties and you-re sure to get some phone numbers. All the fun facts are great to know about the FJ40 you are buying from Gateway Classic Cars. The interesting tid bits about this FJ40 is that it is a barn find from Missouri. The current owner, also only the 2nd owner, found this beauty sitting in a barn gathering dust. The owner bought two FJ40-s, this one and another one that was suited for parts. The owner took this FJ40 apart...
