In 1955 station wagons were, for the first time, included in their own series. The Country Sedan was the intermediate level wagon. The 1955 Fords were totally redesigned from the 1954 version. This beautiful two tone Robin-s Egg Blue and Cream Country Sedan Wagon is a way cool car with a few modern touches. The subtle exterior doesn-t really give anything away. The original Ford engine has been replaced with a Chevrolet 350 CID small block. The engine has been mated to a 350 Turbo Hydramatic, and allows for hours upon hours of dependable highway driving. To give a still stock appearance, the Ford Oil Bath breather has been placed on top of the engine. To make sure this old wagon stops easily, a set of power brakes, with front discs, have been added. The final incantation of the Chevrolet Master Series trucks were the last trucks to share platforms with Chevrolets passenger coupes and sedans. Powered by the 206CID straight 6 from the sedans these trucks were known for their dependability and ruggedness. This 1936 is a fine example of the truck platform and has had the originality maintained over the decades. This truck still sports the 206cid I6 and 3 speed manual transmission that it had from the factory as well as the original 6 volt electrical system. The Mustang created the 'pony car' class of American automobiles; sports-car like coupes with long hoods and short rear decks and gave rise to competitors such as the Chevrolet Camaro, Pontiac Firebird, AMC Javelin, Chrysler's revamped Plymouth Barracuda and the first generation Dodge Challenger. The Mustang is also credited for inspiring the designs of coups such as the Toyota Celica and Ford Capri, which were imported to the United States. This Iconic pony car has been completely gone through and restored by K. A. R. Auto Group of Cleveland Ohio. The Power Convertible top was replaced at the time of the restoration and is in excellent shape. Under the hood is the early 260 V8 engine that has powered these pre - --65 Mustangs. The F code engine is period correct, and is believed to be the original engine to the car. Everything in the drive train is original to the Stang. Inside you will find a nice white vinyl interior that is basic but exceptionally clean. It-s very hard to find these old Pony Cars...

The exterior has been painted in a beautiful deep gloss black and is accented with House of Kolor candy apple red racing stripes, that at first you almost don-t notice until the sunlight hits them, then BAM they-re there. Inside are black vinyl seats, an extra set of gauges to monitor oil pressure, water temperature and voltage. An AM/FM stereo is there for your listening enjoyment, unless you would prefer the sound of that healthy 396 CID V8 engine hiding beneath the cowl hood. The 396 has recently been rebuilt and now displaces 402 cubic inches. A Barry Grant flowed 950 Carburetor sits atop the 396/402 engine and delivers plenty of fuel to this beast. New lifters, valve springs, bronze valve guides and a new Comp Cams camshaft were installed. A MSD ignition system has also been installed to insure the 396/402 big block gets plenty of fire.
