1971 Chevrolet Nova SS

The Nova was introduced in 1961 for 1962 as the Chevy II. It gave people a third choice between the compact Corvair and the full size Chevrolet. Though a great selling car the Nova would be more known for its small platform and huge space under the hood lending itself to more big block builds in the aftermarket than probably all of Chevrolets combined. This Black beauty is a great example of what many people think of now when you say Nova. The 68 to 72 model has become one of the most popular models in the lineup. This 71 is a great example why so many people have gone this route. The black paint is in excellent shape and shows extremely nice. The brightwork only enhances the dark black paint and gives the exterior a -grown up- feel. With its classic Weld wheels completing the style of the exterior the next thing has got to be what-s under the hood. The 355 small block is healthy and sounds like it.
