The D Series is a line of pickup trucks that was sold by Dodge from 1961 to 1980. After 1980, the trucks were renamed the Dodge Ram and the same basic design was retained until the 1994 introduction of a completely redesigned Ram. This 1965 D100 has gone from originally being a farm truck to a show stopping custom street Machine. When this project started, this D100 had been pretty much used up, with over 100000 miles on the odometer, the 318 poly engine and 4-speed transmission were used up, and the truck was in a wonderful color of rattle can red. Of course this was all about to change! A 1958 Imperial was sourced as a donor for the drive train. A 392 Hemi with a TorqueFlite transmission was just the ticket to wake this old truck up. The 392 Hemi was kept fairly mild after the rebuild. The engine has been topped with a Weiand intake and dual Carter AFB carburetors. Taking care of the exhaust is a set of 2. 5 inch Hedman headers. 1969 marked the introduction of Dodge into the now booming pony car market. Built using Chrysler's E platform and sharing many major components of the 'CUDA' the Challenger was a runaway success. Now with the coveted 69 - 71 models bringing huge money the 73's are beginning to gain popularity and demand. This stunning one of a kind Challenger boast its original 318 under the hood but it sure doesn't sound like it. With help from a set of Hooker header's feeding a dual set of 2. 5 inch pipes all the way back this 318 sounds like no other. The healthy street cam that was installed gives this 'little' V8 an excellent lope making you swear it's got a big block under the hood. Transferring all this power is MOPAR's greatest transmission to date, the 727 Torq flite. Controlled through the factory center console mounted shifter this Challenger is ready to either cruise the street or hit the strip. Many people believe that the truck was introduced to the world in January of 2002 but actually the PVO team had actually debuted one in 1996 at the Chicago Auto show. That one did not quite garner the attention of the 02 and was kind of lost in the shuffle. The 02 not so much though it did not become available until 04 with a production run of only 3 years and less than 9000 vehicles total it's no wonder these are coming so sought after in today's market. This black one has all the goodies but the whole reason people call is under the hood. The 8. 3l 5o5 CI V10 is a direct transplant from a Viper, literally the exact same motor. Ofcourse all of that motor is great but it if the thing won't handle it doesn't really matter. A custom suspension set up using Bilstein shock absorbers and performance tuned springs. In 1966 Dodge was ready to unveil a new heavy hitter to the market. Sales were initially low but the second generation hit fairly quickly and would become a car of legend. The Charger would see 7 generations although it has had some hiatuses, they are still in production today! Harking back to the earlier generations the 6th gen debuted in 2006 and the market was excited! Here we have an '07 model, and a SRT8 Super Bee! Per the owner its #511/1000 made for the year. The yellow paint looks sharp and the black leather with cloth inserts complements the exterior and is also in good order. This truck features a 318 CID V-8 cylinder engine with 727 Torqueflite automatic transmission. Originally this cool little truck sported a slant 6 engine with a 3-speed manual transmission, but the owner felt the truck little more oomph to go with the flash. The exhaust exits through 3 inch pipes that allow the 318 to breathe easy and give an aggressive sound as well.
