1932 Essex Terraplane

Introduced in 32 the Essex-Terraplane was reconstructed from the ground up to bring back buyers to the Hudson Motor Company subsidiary. Hudson was in a bit of a slump after moving from the 3rd highest selling American motor company to 7th overall. This new construction was built on a shorter 106 inch wheelbase with a floorpan welded directly to the frame rails. Amelia Earhart was even asked to help introduce the first Essex-Terraplane. This beauty rolled into our showroom with 16,600 miles showing on the odometer. A stout 3. 2L V6 engine pushes this little hotrod down the street with an automatic transmission.
