The Mercedes-Benz 280SL (model W113) is a two-seat roadster/coupe, introduced in 1968, and produced from 1968 through 1971. It replaced the 250 SL. Of the 23,885 W113 280 SLs produced, more than half were sold in the US. The comparatively short and wide chassis, combined with an excellent suspension, powerful brakes, and radial tires gave the W113 superb handling for its time. The styling of the front, with its characteristic upright headlights and simple chrome grille, dominated by the large three-pointed star in the nose panel, paid homage to the then already legendary 300 SL roadster. This 280SL with both hard top and soft-top are in excellent condition. A highly desirable classic this Mercedes convertible is in good condition throughout and runs and drives excellent, especially considering it is a survivor! The very rare option Becker AM/FM radio and even the clock work as they should. With The top down summer days will be enjoyed in comfort and style.
