1970 Mercury Cougar

View Description

The 1970 Mercury Cougar appearance changed slightly from the 1969 model with a new front end that featured a pronounced center hood extension and electric shaver style grille setting it apart from the previous year. The XR-7 option could be added on that included more luxurious appointments with a simulated wood-grained dashboard with a full set of black-faced competition instruments and toggle switches, a T-handle center automatic transmission shifter, and leather and vinyl upholstery. This 1970 Mercury Cougar XR7 Convertible is powered by its rebuilt 351 'Cleveland' CID V8 Engine, backed by a C6 3-speed automatic transmission, and running to a 3. 00 geared rear end. This true XR7 originally came equipped with a 351 Cleveland with a 2 barrel carburetor and a FMX transmission, but was swapped out to a 1970 351 Cleveland engine that is topped with a 4 barrel carburetor, 'quench heads' and was built to spec and dressed up to as close to a 'Boss 351' as possible. The FMX transmission was then replaced with a beefier C6 transmission to hold up to the extra power of the mighty 351. This car was originally sold in California and spent its life there until its current owner purchased...

1965 Mercury Comet

View Description

For 1965, the Comet Cyclone was powered by the 289-cu. in. V-8 with 225hp, the same engine that was put into Mustangs. And for more power, there was a special high-performance package, better known as 'Hi-Po,' available with the Cyclone, and it shared the 271hp V-8 which, when installed in a Mustang, was known as the 'K' code car. Powering this gorgeous Comet Cyclone is a 289-cu. in. V-8 with 225hp at 4,400 rpm and 305-lbs. ft. of torque at 3,200 rpm, with 9. 30:1 compression. The cylinder blocks were built with durable precision-cast alloy iron, five main bearings, hydraulic lifters, a Ford C5MF-9510-A four-barrel carburetor, and the correct code for this engine is 'C. ' The interior on this 1965 Mercury Comet Cyclone is a pristine Ivory vinyl sporting buckets and a console. The Cyclone interior features all-foam bucket seats with pleated vinyl covers over laminated fiber and foam, which gave the Cyclone...

1969 Mercury Cougar

View Description

In 1967 the Mercury Cougar made its introduction as a high line version of the Mustang. Offering more options and a larger more luxurious design. With about three million cars produced, the Cougar is the highest selling Mercury brand ever produced. An effort was made to give the Cougar a 'European' flavor when it came to styling. Including such features as hidden headlights, long flowing lines, leather interior, and simulated wood dash panels as inspired by the Jaquar E-Type. Cougar convertibles were offered between 1969 and 1973. Making this 1969 Mercury a lot more desirable.

Our 1969 Mercury Cougar convertible is a fine example of one of Fords most gorgeous vehicles. This Cougar is equipped with a 'BRAND NEW' 351 Windsor V-8 attached to an automatic transmission. Under the hood are more new parts including a new radiator, carburetor, and master cylinder. Other parts recently installed are new front springs and new chrome bumpers. Many comfort features such as power steering, power brakes, air conditioning (not hooked up), and an AM/FM/ 8track radio are also included....

2004 Mercury Marauder

View Description

With only a 2 year run of this latest (and last) of the Marauders they are now being sought out for their collectability. As you approach this Marauder you can't help but notice just how clean this car is. This is a one owner car and has been babied and very well kept. With only 2,980 actual miles. It still has the unused Marauder Leather Jacket, floor mats in the original package, and the original carpet protection in the trunk. The paint is Silver Birch Metallic. Inside the cabin the interior is just as clean and can barely tell anyone ever sat inside it. Under the hood of this beautiful beast lies the 32 valve 4. 6 liter V8.
