1971 Plymouth Duster
View Description
The Plymouth Duster is a perfect foundation to build a car for the drag strip or as a high powered street rod and this 1971 is a great blend of the two. This B5 Blue Duster was originally a 340 car but now has a professionally built 400 CID small block which makes 572 hp as shown on the dyno sheet. To put that much power to the street this Duster has numerous upgrades, the transmission is a 727 automatic manual shift valve body with a 10 inch 3800 stall turbo action torque converter, 8 3/4 inch rear end with 4:88 gears, and the Weld Racing wheels are sporting a set of Mickey Thompson ET Streets. This Duster may have the power to run a 1/4 mile time in the mid 10 second range, but it still retains everything to use as a street car as well. The car still has the full interior with room for 4 passengers and to remain safe has a full roll cage and RJS safety belts, all of the glass was left intact...
