The owner did not want to mess a true Buick GSX, but did want the looks. So 15 years ago he bought this fine old Skylark and the process began. The muscular good looks of this car go more than just skin deep. The Paint color is Ford F1 paint. Under the hood of this Buick is the heartbeat of a Chevy Beast. A 489 cubic inch big block engine built by Knieriem Racing Engines of Louisville Kentucky resides in the engine compartment. The engine is fresh and ready for the track or street. Yes, its street legal! The engine has been filled with all the good stuff including Speed Pro forged pistons, a forged stroker crank and H-bean rods with ARP rod bolts. Insuring that plenty of air and fuel gets in is a set of Brodix Cylinder heads that have been port matched to an Edelbrock Super Victor Intake. A top the intake is a Gary William prepared Holley dominator carburetor flowing 1300 cfm. Hooker Super Competition Hookers take care of the spent fumes.
