The full size Bronco started in 1978 to compete with the Chevrolet K5 Blazer. In 1984 Ford also came out with another version of the Bronco called the Bronco II, which continued until 1990. The Bronco as a whole went strong for 30 years until 1996 and will return after a 25 year wait for the 2021 model year.
