The Ford Mustang was born in 1964 and was introduced mid-year and was such a huge success it was described by Lee Iacocca as a 'Home Run'. One of the most desirable features of early Mustangs was the 289 Cubic Inch V8 as seen in this fine example. The 289 not only delivered enough horsepower but was smooth and quiet and proved to be extremely dependable.
The 1968 model year saw the first set of mild changes to the front and rear style of the car creating larger taillights. The classic Mustang style was retained due to popularity and has some of the most iconic looks of any classic cars today. In addition to the beautiful burgundy paint this '68 also has a light parchment interior that looks great in contrast to the gleaming paint.
