This 1971 Cameo White 1971 Trans Am is one of 1231 Built that year according to the Pontiac Historical Society. It has a High Output 455 V8 with a functional Ram Air Scoop. Increase the throttle and the back of the shaker hood scoop opens allowing fresh air to flow in. A turbo 400 automatic transmission transfers the power to a 3:08 Posi traction rear end. Original honeycomb wheels with BFG radial tires (the only tires you put on a Trans Am) transfer power to the ground. This was the first year for the high back seats in a Trans AM, power steering power front disc brakes and power windows. Factory AM radio with a completely restored console mounted 8 track player. The stereo has been upgraded with modern electronics and I pod interface. A rear window defroster and tilt steering are also options. This is a straight rust free car....
