During the restoration, all the chrome was replated which was a big task considering how much chrome is on this car. The sheet metal is all original! In 1935 General Motors began dramatically changing its Pontiac styling defining the line for more than twenty years. Called 'The Streak', Pontiac styling took dramatic changes including up and over bands of chrome and a waterfall grille that stretched backward along the center of hood to the base of the hood.
