1968 Chevrolet Camaro
View Description
This car took 3 years, think about that-. 3 years of blood sweat and tears, lots of tears. This build was centered around a huge Morgan and Son-s built 555 CID short block. After adding the aluminum heads the compression ratio is 10. 5:1 set up for 92 octane pump gas and is rated at 700 horsepower. That engine is mated to a TH400 transmission built to handle the extra wild horses. The power is then transferred to a Ford 9- rear end filled with 3:89 gears before it reaches the ground via massive Hoosier Pro Street 29X18. 5X15 tires stretched over Billet Specialties wheels. Supplying fuel to the heart of this beast is a Holley 1050 Dominator Carb. The suspension wasn-t left alone having been completely redone front to back. The front suspension consists of QA-1 tubular control arms, coilovers, and all new Hotchkis Steering components. Baer disc brakes front and rear, and cpp brake master cylinder. The rear suspension was completely modified to accommodate those rear tires. The rear wheel wells were tubbed and the frame was narrowed. A ladder bar suspension was installed to handle any hard launches.
