This sleeper Coronet was born with a 318, which has been nicely upgraded with a new 440 big block in 1967. The exterior is finished in a beautiful caramel color with a slight metallic flake and a painted white roof. The paint was applied in 2012 and looks fantastic. The white vinyl interior matches the theme of the car perfectly, and also looks excellent. The 440 CID V8 currently in the car was installed new in 1967, believed to be a warranty replacement at the time. This Camaro has come a long way and is now a dedicated 1/8th mile drag car running on alcohol. Power comes from a fire breathing 427 that has been bored. 120 to 452 cubic inches. It is equipped with a Ken Jones 1300 Dominator carburetor, aluminum high rise intake manifold, 360 ProLine aluminum heads, new 427 concrete block with stud kit, steel crank, Bill Miller aluminum connecting rods and an Ultra Dyne camshaft with. 725/. 725 lift and 282/292 @. 050 duration. Pontiac produced 7,500 10th Anniversary T/A's. The only option you had was powertrain, you could either get a 400 CID V8 with a 4-speed manual transmission, or a 403 CID V8 with an automatic transmission, all other options/features came standard. This one is powered by the 6. 6 403 which was recently rebuilt and includes Comp Cams full roller cam, lifters and rockers for added durability and smoother performance.
