This Roadster has been custom built from the ground up. The body is a Kilbourne Rod Shop fiberglass body with Hoosier steel hood and sides. The hood opens and closes with a Dan Fink hinge mechanism. The body has been finished in PPG black paint. It has a deep shine which is brought out even more with the red pin striping accents. One bold touch is the bright red grill in front that sets it apart from other '32s. It looks great sitting between 10' 1932 Ford headlights. The body sits atop American Stamping frame rails. It features a Chassis Engineering X-membeRTransmission mount and 4 link rear suspension. The ride is improved with chrome coil overs and 3 way adjustable shocks in front. Look through the front wheels and you'll find front disc brakes with braided stainless steel brake lines. The wheels are 15' American Racing Torq-Thrusts; 6' wide in the front, and 8' in the back with staggered tires. Attention Mopar Fans! For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St Louis showroom is a 1973 Dodge Challenger. 1973 was pretty much the end for muscle cars as power and looks went downhill in 1974. This one isn't lacking either being painted black with polished aluminum Weld Racing wheels and a 440 Magnum for the power plant. The engine makes a great rumble and has a nice choppy idle but does not make the car difficult to drive. The 440 is date coded for 1972 and is fitted with a 6-Pack intake. The original engine is long gone as many other cars from this era are as well. The engine and transmission both have roughly 500 miles and were professionally rebuilt. Painted in a mesmerizing blue metallic with black accent striping and complimented by classic rally wheels, SS emblems and a cowl hood. Inside is a stock appearing interior which include those beautiful cone shaped gauges. Other notable interior features include recent carpet and seat covers plus a Horse Shoe shifter. This original RS is painted in a unique Granada Gold with matching gold interior. This one has been very well maintained over the years and fitted with SS trim to look the part of an original SS RS. There was also a period correct 350 block sourced to further complete the tribute of a correct SS. In 1967, the only way to order a 350 in place of the standard 327 was to opt or the SS package. The 350 was rated at 295 horsepower. However, this beautiful example has been tweaked just a bit and includes boring the cylinders to a 355 displacement and a slightly more radical camshaft. BACKGROUND: The Indian Chief is a motorcycle that was built by the Hendee Manufacturing Company and the subsequent Indian Motocycle Company from 1922 to the end of the company's production in 1953. The Chief was Indian's 'big twin', a larger, more powerful motorcycle than the more agile Scout used in competition and sport riding. When Indian resumed civilian production after World War II, they revived only the Chief line. Production of Indian motorcycles ended with the last Chief made in 1953. (Source: Wikipedia).
