This 47 5-Window Pickup served its life and was retired to a spot behind a building in southwest Missouri. In 1993 the truck was rediscovered and was in need of a full restoration. It was brought to St Louis, Missouri and received just that, a quality and complete restoration. The idea of the restoration was to keep everything as original as possible. The only major change was the color, this 47 3100 was born green, and now it sports a bright red exterior, and a beautiful wood bed. The dash is painted bright red as well, and the vinyl upholstery of the seat is a dark red. Under the hood you will find the Thrift Master inline 6-cylinder engine that has been dressed up and looks fantastic. The 3 on the tree manual transmission is very fitting and easy to use. This Camaro has been treated to a bunch of goodies. It is powered by a very healthy 454 Big Block with a great sounding cam in it. The motor is mated to a rebuilt TH400 that has less than 800 miles on it and is backed by a 10 bolt rear end. The exterior is two tone Flat Black over Dark Red white a silver stripe in between them that really highlights the curves of this car.
