The 1970 Chevelle SS was hands down, the definition of the term, MUSCLE car! During that era we witnessed power and muscle produced from all manufacturers, but the 70 Chevelle with its huge 454 cubic inch powerplant dominated the street & strip. The SS came with the LS6 or LS5 version of the 454. This '70 houses the LS5 and pushes those horses through a mighty Muncie 4 speed that then transfers the power to a 12 bolt posi rear and hits the payment with the 3:31 gears. The engine inhales through the highly recognizable functional cowl induction hood. The spark is controlled by an MSD ignition system and fuel is consumed by a dual fed Holley Carb sitting upon an aluminum single plane intake and the exhaust exits through a set of headers. This SS clone has all the correct F41 suspension to include the rear boxed control arms and heavy duty SS front & rear anti-sway bars.
