1967 Triumph TR4A

This beautiful little car was built on 4/91/1965, according to the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate that comes with the car; however, it's titled as a 1967. Triumph's TR4 first arrived on the scene in 1961, and in 1965 was updated with a completely new independent rear suspension (however - not all came with IRS - the solid axle configuration remained an option).
This slick little TR4A is powered by its original 2. 1L inline 4-cylinder engine, with its original 4-speed manual transmission, and this gem is a blast to drive. Painted in its original 'New White' (color code 19), it looks almost as it did when it first rolled off the assembly line. The engine bay and undercarriage look almost as if the car has never been driven - this car is that clean! This TR4A has been a consistent 1st or 2nd place winner in every show that it's been entered in. The chrome trim, bumpers, and glass are in excellent condition as well, and the original knock-off wire wheels look great. The black convertible top is like new, as well. The interior is in great shape - its red leather seats seem practically unused, the door panels...
