According to its cowl tag, this '67 Camaro convertible was a little bit of a special build. The '12667' on the cowl tag indicates 'Convertible, Custom Interior', and there are definitely a few 'custom' features; but more on that later. With '10C' on the tag, it indicates a manufacture date of sometime in the 3rd week of October at the GM plant in Van Nuys, CA. This car comes with a detailed photo history of its restoration, along with pages of parts expenditures that itemize everything that its owner put into it during the restoration. He purchased it from its prior owner in 1979 and enjoyed motoring around in it until about mid-1992, when he took it out of service to take it apart and restore it. After 37 months of money, parts, labor, and love, it was ready to show off to the world in late July 1995. Since then, the restoration has aged very well, given that the car appears to have only been driven a few hundred miles after the restoration was finished.
