Titled as a 69 Karmann Ghia this beauty is far from where it originally started. Vintage Speedsters who is the authority on all things Speedster built this car and it shows. Starting off with a custom built, jig welded, 2x4 inch 11 gauge steel frame original VW pans a shortened and then welded to the new skeleton. The rigid new structure retains the original pan design while using the biggest frame possible. Even the steering wheel is offset slightly just like the originals were. With the frame and body together the next decision made was using a 1600 CC dual carb VW engine. This engine is very similar to the original putting out enough power to get this little speedster down the road quick. Mated to the 4 speed transmission blasting down the back roads will never be more fun.
