This one has been enjoyed by the current owner for 20 years and was restored just prior to his ownership. The exterior features a smart color change from the original bronze shade to the icy blue seen on it now. She sits great, and still looks good. The seller believes it is an original SS from the factory, however there is no documentation to that affect.
The original engine is long gone, but the GOOD news is, the 396 in there now is designated as a very desirable 396-375 horse L78 built October 23rd, 1969, according to the stampings on the block pad. (The VIN prefix on the block is from a different car). It is enhanced with an Edelbrock intake, MSD ignition, and Hooker Headers. No shame in having an otherwise correct 396 in there!
