America's love affair with the Corvette had been strong since the cars release in 1953, but it was renewed once again in 1968 with the newest generation. Belgium born American engineer Zora Arkus-Duntov was named Chief Engineer of the Corvette in 1968, and it was many of his ideas that made the C3 generation so great. The C3 generation featured a new coke bottle body style that featured hidden wipers, rounder bodylines over the fenders, and removable t-tops and rear glass for coupes.
