In 1984 Chevrolet introduced 'the Camaro that thinks it's a Corvette' or the IROC-Z. IROC-Z or the International race of champions was a sanctioned SCCA event that matched up the best of the best auto racers in identically prepared cars. Although it was a complete fan favorite it had sponsorship issues beginning in 2006 and would end its storied run a year later. Much like the series Chevy's IROC-Z would have a short but truly loved life. This 89 is a time capsule with nothing being touched and in unbelievable condition it is sure to be on very collector's wish list. Bought right here in KY by the original owner who, unfortunately, fell on hard times just 8 months & 10000 miles later would wind up selling it to the current owner.
